A crossroads of footpaths lie outside the front door. Wainwright’s ‘Pennine Journey’ long distance footpath has recently been opened and the path is literally outside the front door.
BEDS: 14 in 4 bedrooms of 2’s; 4 and a 6. Bed linen included, but not towels.
COST: £45 for the weekend, and additional nights are available too (Thurs?).
STUFF you need to know: High standard accommodation, open plan lounge/diner a well equipped cottage with cookers, showers, loos, central heating and a log-burner. Good drying facilities, own car-park and is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the best of the Yorkshire Dales/ Southern Lakes.
PUBS: 2 excellent pubs in the village (3ml) but we’ll probably group cater here
