FONTAINEBLEAU France – Easter Climbing POSTPONED

Fontainebleau, a region of rocky gorges 40mls south-east of Paris that’s widely considered the best destination for bouldering in the world. Climbers of all ages and abilities travel from around the world to visit this tranquil pine forest populated with impressively active French outdoorsy types and thousands of spectacular boulders, with no fewer than 20,000 routes to climb!

Chris and Stacey are heading there (for a week from Fri 10 April) and HMC members are welcome to join them. A good reason to play in the bouldering Mecca of the world and get strong before the outdoor UK “fair weather” climbing season begins! Suitable for ALL levels of climbing but it’s also home of many miles of forest walks and biking trails. The trip is open to anyone who wishes to come join us. We will be camping in the area, although some do prefer a gite and, if there’s enough interest in this, Gianluca is happy to search/book.
