It’s within easy reach of all of the popular hill walking areas such as the Llanberis Pass\, Ogwen and Beddgelert and is ideally situated for any group wishing to walk\, mountaineer or climb in the mountains of Snowdonia. It is even possible to walk from the centre over Moel Eilio and thence to the summit of Snowdon itself. The centre forms an excellent base for rock climbing at areas such as the slate quarries\, the Llanberis Pass and Tremadog.
