When these are out of condition\, Buckbarrow and Wallabarrow in Dunnerdale provide good sport for climbers and walkers can explore the lower tops and side valleys. DESCRIPTION:It’s back – The Christmas Pud Walk: Starting at Britain’s ONLY Trappist Beer Brewery at 10.00am. Mount St Bernard Abbey\, Oaks Road\, Coalville\, LE67 5UL (the gift shop should be open for bottles of good beer\, brewed on site by the monks).\nAbout 6 miles of glorious countryside\, we’ll visit Leicestershire’s highest point Bardon Hill\, (picnic time?) and if everyone is good  a visit to Leicestershire’s highest Pub!\nParking is at the monastery (Big Car Park and toilets). Donations of a least £1 per car please in the honesty box. Take a look inside the abbey if you’re allowed to – it’s stunning.\nSee you there

DESCRIPTION:BEDS: 2o in numerous rooms – with both male and female rooms allocated accordingly \nCOST: £35 the weekend\, payable on or before the event\, plus around £3 for a two-course dinner Saturday evening. Bring your own beer\, wine or tea and don’t forget your other food for Fri/Sat and a sleeping bag is necessary. \nSTUFF you need to know: Ideal base within a short drive of Llanberis and Caernarfon and offers self-catered\, bunk bed style accommodation. It’s within easy reach of all of the popular hill walking areas such as the Llanberis Pass\, Ogwen and Beddgelert and is ideally situated for any group wishing to walk\, mountaineer or climb in the mountains of Snowdonia. It is even possible to walk from the centre over Moel Eilio and thence to the summit of Snowdon itself.
